Last year, we started Rivanna to build AI for M&A due diligence. 

Each year, approximately $30 trillion of M&A is executed globally. These deals reshape industries, generate wealth, and unlock value for countless businesses, customers and communities. We believed that enabling faster and smarter capital allocation at scale would be among the most significant ways that AI would impact the broader economy. 

Deployed on over 300 live M&A transactions, Rivanna has helped private equity and corporate development teams analyze data rooms with unprecedented efficiency, surfacing faster answers, insights, and risks through an AI system purpose-built for rigorous due diligence workflows. 

The technology we developed in document ingestion, preprocessing, and search enabled investors to upload and accurately query over data rooms of size and complexity that general-purpose AI platforms could not handle.  

When we met the Rogo team, we resonated with their mission of building institutional-grade AI for financial services professionals. By joining forces and bringing our specialization in buyside due diligence to Rogo, we will be able to scale the impact of our work across the institutional finance ecosystem.
